I have been to 17 of 50 states, mostly on the east coast and Midwest.
2. I got my first bow at age eleven, my first gun at age twelve.
3. I play trumpet, flute, piano, and I’m attempting to learn the guitar…not so successfully.
4. I’d rather watch an action flick than a chick flick any day. My favorite action flicks are the Bourne movies.
5. I grew up in Miami and used to go to the beach every weekend but now I’m terrified to go in the ocean.
6. Despite my fear of the ocean, I want to learn how to surf.
7. My thumbs look kind of like toes and earned me the nickname Lt. Nubbins.
8. Two of my guy friends from college named my thumbs; the left one is Bruce and the right one is Ted. No idea why.
9. I’m the third of four kids but before my parents got divorced and remarried I was the baby of two kids, so I act like the youngest child more than a middle child. Also, I’m the only girl.
10. My two favorite things to do when I was a kid was jump ramps with my brothers, whether on my bike or rollerblades and play in the park.
11. When I was a kid in Florida we used to play in the flood waters after hurricanes. The playground at the park turned into a free water park. It was fun until I saw an alligator swimming through the park not far from the playground. I never did that again.
12. I’m moving to London this year after dreaming of adventure my whole life. I’m finally taking that first, uncertain step towards my dreams.

13. I’m moving to England to go to grad school. I’m starting the process to earn my doctorate degree in creative writing so that I can be a professor.
14. I wanted to be a rapper when I was a kid. There is one and only one tape with my rapping on it and that lies within my possession. No one is allowed to listen to it, ever.
15. I don’t wear make-up on a daily basis, only on special occasions like formal dances which come about once a year. The only other exceptions are when I’m modeling for my photographer friend or I’m in a play.
16. I’ve held down at least one part time job since I was fourteen years old. All the fun things I have, musical instruments, albums, books, and movies, I bought myself.
17. I own a pair of Rayban Wayfarers. Classic black. Yeah, I’m awesome. Bitchin even.
18. Last celebrity I met was Joe Jonas. Not as good looking in person as I had thought but sweet. He blushed when he saw me.
19. Over the course of my life I’ve lived in seven different cities. Soon to be eight.
20. I’ve never been on a real date, never been kissed, never even held hands with a guy. Not for lack of offers. Just a lack of good offers. When I find a guy who can keep up with my snark I’ll say yes.
21. I collect hats, shot glasses, and porcelain rabbit figurines. My favorites are the hats. Specifically fedoras.
22. My favorite beverage is chai, mocha chai. Hot or cold. Good stuff!
23. I’m a country girl at heart. I love shooting guns, frolicking through open fields, cooling off in swimming holes, and getting lost in endless stretches of woods.
24. My favorite color is purple. Because I am royalty.
25. My sophomore year of college I fell very ill with a potentially fatal illness that took six months to diagnose and another six months to treat. I found out then who my true friends are. Only one stuck with me. It also made me realize my true call in life and the fact that I hadn’t truly been living.
26. I like spinny rides but not ones that go upside down. And I’ve only been on about five rollercoasters.
27. The musical theatre role I would love to play most is Inga from Young Frankenstein.

28. I was supposed to be born on Halloween.
29. I act very impish most times but those who know me can tell that I’m a very mature person and enjoy deep, intellectual and philosophical conversations. I just find more people will talk to me when I’m being silly.
30. My first complete novel manuscript is for a spy novel called Two Days of Knight. It’s absolute crap and no, I’m not saying that because I want you to say “oh no, I’m sure it’s really good” because it isn’t and I can own up to it. It’s full of every cliché known to the spy genre. My best friend couldn’t stop laughing while she read it and she said it was so bad, it was good.
31. My thinking cap is a silver plastic tiara with purple gems and feather trim. I wear it while editing my manuscripts.
32. I do not think tiny dogs are cute. I will never own a little yappy dog. I’d rather have a Boxer, a Saint Bernard or a Pit Bull.
33. I like cleaning the bathroom. I detest all other chores but when I’m cleaning the bathroom I can shut the door, turn on the fan, put in my iPod and be alone for a while.
34. I’ve written three complete novel manuscripts.
35. My second novel took me four years to write and edit to the point where I was satisfied with it.
36. If I could turn my life into any story I would choose Peter Pan. I always wanted to be Wendy and go off with Peter to Neverland. I would’ve stayed.

37. First thing I notice about a man is his eyes. I like guys with a hint of mischief in their eyes and a wry smile that shows they love to joke around. Brown eyes get me the worst. The next things I notice are hair and smile. But if you really want to win me over, keep up with my snark and make me laugh. Show me you can keep up with my intellect too and you are definitely “in”.
38. I don’t have any tattoos yet but I had one designed personally for my by an amazing artist! She drew these AMAZING portraits of Mumford and Sons! And when I befriended her on tumblr, I just couldn’t resist asking if she’d bestow this favor upon me.

I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. It’ll be expensive but worth it! I have four more planned out that I want.
39. I can follow recipes pretty well but ask me to improvise with cooking and it’s a lost cause.
40. I have perfected scrambled eggs. Onion powder, milk, salt and pepper in the eggs. Sauté some mushrooms and spinach. Add the eggs. Fry til light and fluffy. Once on the plate, top with parmesan cheese. Yummy!
41. Favorite movie of all time is Princess Bride. It has something for everyone! Comedy, action, romance, miracles…it has it all!
42. I went to the same college as Sufjan Stevens. That fact makes me smile more than you could even imagine.
43. I have put each of the members of Mumford and Sons into my novels. Not as themselves, obviously, but characters based loosely off them. I’ll give you two examples: Ben is Benjamin the half-nymph. Winston is Aladar the Amber Dragon.
44. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is my late night talk show of choice. It’s the accent and the Tardis on the desk.
45. I’m terrified of monkeys.
46. That being said, the last show I was in required me to be in a full out monkey suit. The first time I walked by a mirror in costume I almost cried.
47. Want to impress me? Strike up a conversation about literature, politics or history.
48. I’m easy to shop for. Buy me books or music and I will love you forever.
49. I’m allergic to pretty much everything including but not limited to: gluten, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and eggplant.
50. I kick ass at MarioKart 64.
51. My favorite Star Trek captain is Jean-Luc Picard. Patrick Stewart is a remarkable actor, classically trained. And Jean-Luc Picard is a brilliant character, intelligent, dignified and understatedly courageous.
52. I’m incredibly fond of Shakespeare’s plays. My first exposure to the Bard was a modern retelling of Hamlet that was set during WWII but with all the same dialog. It was remarkable! My first time acting in a Shakespearean was also Hamlet. It was just in a high school literature class and I played Gertrude but it was good fun.
53. Saturday Night Live is almost a religious practice for me. I watch it every week and my brother insists that I should audition if I ever get the opportunity.
54. The one place I would go if I had an unlimited budget for travel would be Italy. My great-grandfather was from Italy and I feel a strong tie to that country. I may not be able to eat pasta anymore but I can still enjoy the gelato, coffee, and wine! And all the history! Oh, I would be in paradise. Every museum and historical site would be visited!
55. Jewelry is not something I enjoy. Don’t get me wrong, I think simple pieces can be very beautiful but I lose jewelry all the time. And if I were to lose anything really expensive and nice I’d just feel guilty. So when I do wear jewelry I get anxious.
56. Batman is my favorite superhero. Why? I’m glad you asked. Because he’s a pretty normal guy. He has no superhuman powers but he takes what he does have to make his community a better place. Plus he’s a total badass in general.
57. Scrabble is one of my favorite games. My dad and step-mom play every weekend and they’re both really great. The day I beat my father he told me I was out of the will.
58. I’d like to have a pet Ocelot someday.
59. To me, the perfect first date would be something like spending a day at an art fair or carnival/theme park. Somewhere with lots of conversation starters such as art pieces or shops with interesting items. Movies and dinner are not really ideal for getting to know someone because you can’t talk really in a movie theatre and at dinner you’re too concerned with looking gross when you eat.
60. Eddie Izzard is my favorite stand-up comic. He’s really a thinking man’s comedian and discusses religion and history so regularly that you learn while you laugh. He’s absolutely brilliant!
61. Men who can wear jeans and tee shirt well are just as attractive to me as men who wear sharp suits and ties. Bonus points if the man in jeans wears some form of boots on his feet and has an interesting belt buckle.
62. I am a fan of delicious flavor. (If you don’t get it, Google it!)
63. I like fast cars and motorcycles. I blame my brother Chad for that one. He used to take me cruising in his Honda S2000 with the top down. We’d go drifting in parking lots. He also took me for a spin once on his motorcycle but I think I’d rather drive my own instead riding on the back seat.
64. My best friend Nathan has banned me from drinking energy drinks. The reason is because when I drink them I become a force of destruction. I bounce off the walls like a cartoon character and I literally stay awake and alert for 36 hours. The only exception is on my birthdays. Nathan gets me a Monster and we stay up all night together just talking, watching movies, and having fun.
65. Best birthday memory is from my 22nd birthday. That was my Ferris Bueller birthday. I skipped class from uni for just one day (I got special permission, don’t worry!) and hopped on a train to Chicago. From there I met my best guy friends Spenser and Nathan and we had a picnic lunch in Millennium Park then we went up the Sears tower. It was AMAZING. Got stopped by a homeless guy who literally asked for spare change so he could get drunk. At least he was honest, right?
66. My friends all call me Hobbit, shorty, midget, ankle biter, etc. because they claim I’m short, but I’m really average height!
67. Teams I follow: Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Florida Marlins, and the Detroit Tigers. Possibly Manchester United when I move to London. We shall see.
68. I still have two baby teeth and always will. For some reason the adult teeth never developed.
69. I spent a summer in high school working at a Boy Scout camp. That was good fun!
70. The best college graduation gift I received and my absolute favorite was a single yellow tulip, worth around $100 given to me by my brother.
71. Music with loud bass makes me happy.
72. I like pretty much all kinds of music except for scream-o metal and opera. Some genres I prefer over others. I’d rather listen to folk rock than top forty for example. But I enjoy both as well as country, rap, hip-hop, etc.
73. Childhood aspiration number two was to be the first woman to play major league baseball. I was addicted to the game and would spend hours in the backyard with my bat hitting tennis balls at the fence.
74. There are times when I like to amuse myself by throwing small food items in the air and catching them in my mouth, like popcorn, m&ms, etc. I’m quite skilled.
75. Flying in airplanes doesn’t fascinate or amuse me. I’ve been flying since I was five years old and I just don’t enjoy it anymore but I feel bad for people who’ve never flown anywhere.
76. The only bone I’ve ever broken was a fracture in my foot which I sustained from kicking the bajeezus out of a ju jitsu instructor during a self-defense class.
77. Politics is something I refrain from speaking about publically because my whole family is very politically charged and they get obnoxious about it but if I had to be labeled, I would have to say I’m a Libertarian, bordering on Anarchist.
78. Swing dancing is my favorite kind of dance! I absolutely adore it. It takes skill and trust between partners. It’s also a fun excuse to wear a dress.
79. If you hadn’t already noticed, girly things have never really been my forte. I enjoy dressing up from time to time and I like dresses and such but I’ve never been uber girly.
80. I prefer Chris Pine as James T. Kirk but Leonard Nemoy as Spock, though Zachary Quinto did a fabulous job!
81. Indiana Jones was my first celebrity crush.
82. Mountains inspire me and I love to be in them during thunderstorms. I think hearing thunder rolling off the peaks is one of the most awe inspiring things a human can experience.
83. Once a year I reread either The Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia.
84. Barefoot is the only way to be in the summer. If shoes are required, flip-flops are my go to shoe of choice.
85. Two television shows I watch religiously are Castle and SNL. I also am very fond of Merlin and Once Upon a Time.
86. Favorite song of all time is Switchfoot’s Only Hope.
87. I have been fortunate enough to know my great grandmother and have her in my life to some extent for my whole life. I’ve also had all my grandparents in my life as well.
88. My friends think I’m picky about guys but in truth the only criteria I really have for a future husband is that he is someone who makes me laugh, who I can have fun with, who will be my best friend. That’s all that really matters after all.
89. I own less than ten pairs of shoes.
90. My Lord of the Rings obsession was so intense in high school that I named my cat Elbereth, which is Elvish for Snow White. She’s all white, obviously.
91. Someday I’d like to go to Kenya and do work helping AIDS orphans. Not permanently, because I know that’s not my calling in life, but for a few weeks.
92. Secret Life of the American Teenager is my worst guilty pleasure.
93. My parents keep pushing me to take the entrance test for Mensa but I keep putting it off because I’m terrified I’m not as intelligent as I really am.
94. I talk about drinking more than I actually drink but I was actually hung over at my college graduation. Bad life decision.
95. Bowling is probably one of the most entertaining things you can do with me. That and playing video games. I get ridiculously and comically competitive. Don’t believe me? We’ll hang out and you can see for yourself.
96. I believe that Cheerwine should be available in all states and countries. Google that stuff, it’s amazing.
97. This is thoroughly disgusting, but I once had a gushing nosebleed for six hours and didn’t die.
98. I am a textbook definition of a hopeless romantic.

100. While others worry about the zombie apocalypse, I’m busy preparing for the AI uprising.
